"Humans
have always been a curious race. They tend to be young, reckless and primitive
but they possess something that is unique. It’s found within the “hearts” of
these beings. It’s known as hope. The basic principle of this “hope” is that
even in the face of defeat, they will still try, no matter the cost or the
consequence. They will give all they have until there is nothing left to give.
This is what makes humans dangerous, it’s what gives them an edge that no other
race has. This is why they will survive."
Mysterious you see. Aliens? The future? That's your story to write, so you better get started.
writing the beginning to a story is so much fun because it can basically be any crazy scenario, dramatic scene, or witty introduction to something. Its when you start writing after that when things get complicated. When you write introductions is it because you know the story that should go after, or is it just to leave the question of what happens?
ReplyDeleteI do this too! Except not on purpose... I usually have the intent of finishing the story but usually stop because I lose interest or can't figure out how to continue. I've never thought of just leaving them open for interpretation like this.

ReplyDeleteThe very beginning of any story is my favorite because it's what draws you in. I really like how you left it open for interpretation like Emelia said. Also, This is a really awesome opening for a potential story. I know I would read it.
