Prompt- You can learn a lot about a person through their music. What genres do you enjoy and how does it affect your life?
I have a collective taste in music. I listen to rock, alternative, classical, jazz. I listen pretty much anything that is either 1. Inspiring/ beautiful or 2. Catchy or just plain good music. The only, genre that I can definitively say I enjoy all the time is Alternative rock. I'll run into a ify song here and there but generally I can listen to any band in that genre. The mixture of good beats and excellent vocalists makes for a type of music that I can just sit down and listen to all day.
Music influences my life in a few major ways. One being that it relaxes me. I could sit down, put in my ear buds and close my eyes, putting the whole day behind me. I sure I would be certifiably insane by now if I didn't have music. Secondly, I like haring my music with others. Once you find someone else who likes your music, you'll find you have a lot in common with that person. I cannot imagine a life without music.

I absolutely agree with you. If I didn't have music, my life would not be the same. I also like alternative music, but also like many other genres.
ReplyDeleteHey Jacob, I'm a pretty general music kind of person too, as long as I don't feel like somebody's just yelling in my ear or saying, not singing, words that don't mean anything.
